Microblading Aftercare Guidelines
Healing
Day 1-2 Eyebrows appear darker, minor swelling.
Day 3 Light scabs form, skin may become tighter and itchy.
Day 4-13 Skin starts to flake off. Brows may appear up to 50% lighter.
Day 14-28 As skin continues to exfoliate, the color will come back (or “BLOOM”) and brows will look more defined.
Day 45-60 Touch up appointment!
Aftercare
Be patient! Residual pigment, blood, white blood cells, etc. can arise from the open wound during the first 24 hours.
- Do not wet brows for at least 7 days. Use gentle makeup removing wipes to remove makeup without using water, being careful not to wipe over brows.
- No rubbing, picking or peeling.
- Keep hair away from face to avoid infection.
- After 7-10 days, apply a very SMALL amount of unrefined organic coconut oil daily, until healed.
- No sun, tanning, excessive sweating, saunas, sunscreen, or makeup on brows for the first 2 weeks or until done peeling.
- No skincare products on brows EVER.
- Apply sunscreen on your brows everyday AFTER 2 weeks.
- Avoid petroleum and vaseline based products during your healing period.
